This is the original class that started the Lemon Cree craze across the James Bay communities! A saucy mix of aerobics that focuses on toning, increasing energy, losing weight in an unconventional way that keeps the class super fun. You’ll be having so much fun in the class, you’ll almost forget how hard you are actually working out! This class involves fun songs that will get you bouncing on the balls and using weights and Resist-A-Bands for a full body workout! But don’t let this class’ fun environment fool you! You will shed pounds while working with a combination of routines to get your heart pumping and fat burning!
Looking for a fitness and health program specifically designed for you? Or, maybe you just want to learn more about how to use fitness equipment properly for optimal results and to prevent sports injuries? We offer one-on-one coaching sessions where we will develop a personal program plan for you to follow on a daily to weekly basis depending on your unique and individual needs. The session involves a comprehensive review of your diet, lifestyle and current fitness level. We will review and help to create realistic goals for you and will check up on a monthly basis to keep you motivated and supported on your fitness journey!
FLUID BODY & BREATH
Relax, de-stress, breath and get strong and mobile! This class combines yoga & stretching movements, functional mobility and breath work. The practice of breathing deeply builds awareness and reduces stress.
You will gain strength, mobility and flexibility in this class and it is a powerful tool to help decrease stress, bring focus and clarity, and a sense of peace and relaxation. Through breath work, a sequence of poses and meditation, you will begin to experience that mind-body-spirit connection. With various levels and styles, anyone can do it, whether you are 5 or 100!
Relax. Breath. Move. Be Creative! Swing your arms like a chimpanzee, grow tall like a tree, hop like a frog, breath like a beluga! Using playful yoga poses, games, songs and stories children will learn to move and connect with their bodies in a fun and relaxing way. Yoga can help to improve and develop focus, concentration, breathing and listening skills, physical fitness (coordination, balance, flexibility) and builds confidence and body awareness.
SOUND THERAPY MEDITATION
Sound Therapy Meditation is a way of accessing a deep meditative state using sound through various harmonic tone instruments and vocalization. For thousands of years sound has been used as a therapeutic tool to ease anxiety, promote a sense of well-being, release stress, disconnect from habitual patterns and experience powerful change. Experience deep relaxation and self-healing in a sound therapy session.
